The Observatory is an illustration and graphic design project created and shared by Anxo Vizcaíno. It is one of those projects that make your imagination fly away. It has the space theme but with a surreal style of presenting the human figure. It also reminds the Monument Valley game due to the isometric perspective.
The first piece of this series was originally part of my collection of “experimental remixes”. Now it inspired me to create a whole collection of scenes set in the same atmosphere. I’m producing some limited fine-art prints soon. – Anxo Vizcaíno
After many years working as a graphic designer and illustrator, I have now embarked on a more personal artistic path, treating the most sincere subjects into my mind and experimenting with the techniques and elements I ever wanted. I’m currently working on a few personal series while I combine it with some also inspiring and attractive commissions related to photomontage, illustration, lettering, UI/UX and, occasionally, 2D animation. – Anxo Vizcaíno
